lucifermourningweekend of shinyness indeed...drove down to dc without even getting lost to show up for night 2 of crime of the century larp. from the sounds of it, it was the better night to get to! wandered lost for only a few minutes before running fortunately into ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sheniver and larry, which rapidly led to following them up to sidhedevil's room, which quickly filled with many people, so i got a chance to say hi to all sorts before game. and sidhedevil volunteered spontaneously to do my hair so it looked all film-noir ingenue-ish. sadly had no camera to take pictures! (got inserted in a few but don't really know the camera owners) game itself was quite shiny. a bit slow at first, plot-wise, but, being new, i went about finding out who everyone was and just chatting loads until the weirdness picked up. decided i quite like my character by the end of it--hopefully game 2 will be before the end of september so i can come down for it. shall see.
the most excellentsheniver then allowed me the use of her couch for the few hours before journeyintoday showed up and took me to breakfast and gifted me with shiny photos from nva and from my leaving dinner. mew!
was most especially lovely to see all the shiny dc people. ::waves to dc people:: squee! shall return at some point in the next month or two, i hope...
