Olympics

So I believe that very few of my friends are sports fans but, on the off chance...

My sister wants to come and visit during the Olympics and see the women's football. I was completely rubbish and failed to enter the ticket lottery thing, and have just found out that the "second chance" is only open to the people who previously applied. Grr.

So I was wondering if anyone is eligible for the "second chance" and doesn't plan to buy all the tickets they're allowed. If so, would you be willing to try and get some tickets that I would buy off you for her?

Very grateful if anyone can help - please comment or e-mail me - (lucifermourning at gmail dot com).

Thanks!

Isn't there some outrageous security validation to prevent people buying and reselling?

I have no idea. Hmmm... that might not work then.

I might be wrong, and no doubt there are ways around such things if you arrange with the buyer in advance of the purchase.

to be honest, the most likely problem is not knowing anyone who cares about the olympics!

We might be able to get her tickets stateside, did you check with the US olympic Committee?

So on the link to order tickets from the US, it says something about live sales on June 28, I'll look into it for you. Here is the website www.cosport.com
