(no subject)

i would just like to say that my backyard rocks.
it is, at various times, host to:
groundhogs
chipmunks
raccoons
squirrels
possums
snakes
hawks (okay, they were above it)
song birds (or many kinds)
rabbits
turkey vultures
and all manner of insects.

oh, and a cat. she lives in the shed. i know it's a she 'cause she's calico.

there used to be peacocks, but that was years ago.

my dad got some wicked cool pictures of the turkey vultures, and even blurry ones when they were in flight.

i love new jersey.

though the black bears are in the less-populated bits of the state.
