tuesday

yesterday was a truly wonderful day.
i had classes, two of them for the last time, which is fairly a good thing--there's always a nice sense of completion in finishing a class. but i really like dall my classes this semester so having them was still a good part of the day. also handed in papers for said 2 classes, making me really and truly done with them. one paper was about a week early. accomplish am i!
talked to urizen, which always puts me in a good mood. am becoming horrifically impatient to get on my plane though. mrow!
then went shopping with noedenseve. i have had such good roommate luck this year! was excellent to spend time with her, to go shopping, which i really haven't done in ages and ages. and i got a new dress.
then i ended the day with dinner out, a last minute reschedulement of friday's aborted plans, thanks to the wonderful sidhedevil. organized in about 2 days and there kept being more and more people coming, with nearly a dozen showing up in all--sidhedevil, rojir, aryaluna, onomojaku, sheniver, journeyintoday, boztopia, 2eclipse, zankoku_zen and glaurung2. mew! it was so very, very shiny to hang out with everyone. despite my eagerness to leave i am going to miss you all. and i got the shiniest present ever! sidhedevil and rojir present me with a tin lunchbox (thus making it already amazingly cool) which had a union jack on it. and i opned it up and sheniver had filled it with hugs! or rather, bit of colored paper that said hugs. and a superball! which is only really amusing if you were there for the first part of the harlequin plot last fall, but i was delighted. i felt so very lucky to have so many excellent friends.

i also realized today that i actually have more americans that brits on my friends list--and considering that when i started i only had brits, that is rather startling.

even more so that i have around 70 folks on my friends list only knew half or dozen or so of the americans before i went to the uk.
