Mar. 21st, 2005 01:30 pmso there wasn't so much break in spring break...
spent most of my weekend working at the info desk. see, everybody else had gone away. so the only people working this week were me and the supervisors. so once i got back from being home for a long weekend i got recruited to be at the desk whenever i wasn't at my internship. and i did feel bad for them having to work so much so i did as many hours as i could.
on the plus side i made many moneys.
yesterday i had a 4-hour break when others were working to feed and go to a library to research. the library i had to go to was at the george mason university. so i look at the metro--25 minutes to vienna, then shuttle bus to the university. okay, i think, can't be too bad. they don't mention that the bus takes 30-40 minutes. so something like 2 hours travelling to spend 15 minutes at the library making photocopies.
on the plus side, i started reading a book soley for pleasure. i haven't done that in waaay too long. we'll see how long it takes me to finish. (the lovely bones, if you want to know; was much recommended to me and is quite good so far).
and on that note i'll end with a ( lemming )
