Aug. 26th, 2004 11:12 pmday of busyness and shiny new things.
which include: a converter thingy that lets me connect a real mouse and keyboard to my laptop. which was shiny and new as of last saturday so still counts as such. and the converter just makes me very happy as i am a passionate hater of laptop keyboards and mice for long term use.
a laser printer. it's ginormous but can print lots very fast and doesn't run out of ink very often. which will be crucial, between creative writing courses and stage managing, which both need lots and lots of printings.
a hot tub. while this is not mine per se. but my dad decided he should go buy one. and it is utterly shiny. it appeared like magic last night (except i did kinda know it was coming) and i got to use it upon getting home from work today. and it made me happy. and i got to attack my sister by squirting water out of rubber ducks at her. this greatly pleased me.
otherwise, packing, packing and some more packing. discovering random things in my room and packing/sorting them. stuff i leave behind is not getting put away properly but rather stuck in piles to deal with at some vaguw point in the future. argh. but i have also found lots of rubber critters to decorate my desk.
and now i should go pack more so i can actually get sleep tonight and go to work tomorrow.
