Um...when you log into the website, it should tell you "You have 12 new
mail messages for Ash Blackthorn". Gah. Stupid thing. OK. Now it should
tell you, you have new mail.
You can tell it not to store it on the website too if you want - thats on
the character info page or the subscriptions page.
